1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of Shellgate (shellgate.ai), a SaaS platform that provides a secure gateway for AI agents to access external APIs, SSH servers, and email accounts on behalf of users.

2. Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all actions taken by AI agents using tokens issued under your organization
  • You must have proper authorization to connect external accounts and services

3. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use Shellgate for unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Do not abuse the gateway for malicious purposes
  • Do not attempt to circumvent security controls or access other users' data

4. Beta Status

  • Shellgate is currently in beta
  • There is no guaranteed uptime SLA during the beta period
  • Features and pricing may change as the product evolves

5. Data Ownership

  • You retain ownership of all data you create and manage through Shellgate
  • Shellgate does not claim ownership of data passing through the gateway
  • Data from connected accounts (Google, Microsoft) belongs to you

6. Connected Accounts

  • By connecting an account, you authorize Shellgate to access the connected service on your behalf within the scopes you approved
  • You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the account in your dashboard
  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and used solely for authorized operations

7. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, all data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The service is provided "as is" during the beta period
  • We make no warranties regarding availability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Shellgate shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
